WHO WE ARE
Welcome to Jefferson County Foster Closet, where we serve as a resource to children in the foster care system. Our mission is to provide the necessary supplies and support to alleviate the burdens faced by both the children and their foster families. We offer a wide range of clothing and personal care items to give the children a sense of dignity and comfort, as well as educational materials to help them learn and grow. We believe that every child deserves to feel valued and cared for during this challenging chapter in their lives. Our goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of these children and to ensure that they have the tools they need to build a bright future.
HOW WE STARTED
Having been a foster parent myself, I understand how crucial it is for foster children to feel a sense of normalcy while navigating what can be a turbulent environment. I started this non-profit in March of 2021 with the goal of providing support to children in foster care in my community, so that they have a chance to feel like any other kid.

We offer support and resources to children regardless of their background. We are passionate about making a difference in the lives of these children by providing them with the support they need.
